While Casino has some moments that are truly hellacious, such as a torture-by-vice sequence that had to be cut down to avoid an NC-17 rating, it’s really about the relationship between Ace and Nicky. And that’s what makes it worth watching, especially for fans of Sharon Stone. Her performance here is both sexy and believable, as the type of woman most men would want to tame – but only for the right price.
